First Time with a Rutabaga

New ingredients are so much fun to cook with for the first time! Welcome to my kitchen rutabaga .... hopefully you will make my soup delicious!


My first impression of a rutabaga is it taste like a cross between celery and a potato. I can't wait to see how it turns out and there's a post to come.

My mom always boiled it with corned beef, cabbage, carrots and parsnips for an Irish dinner (which is pretty tasty!) - I've never had it any other way, can't wait to see what you come up with!
